Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://geofundamentals.com and all tools, content, and services offered by GeoFundamentals ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

Some features require an account or active subscription. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

3. Permitted use

You may use GeoFundamentals for lawful business and professional purposes to analyse and improve GEO visibility. You must not:

• Submit URLs or content you do not own or lack permission to analyse
• Use the Service to generate or publish unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing material
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically copy our tools, scores, or proprietary methodology
• Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or subscription requirements
• Use automated scripts to abuse free or paid APIs
• Resell, white-label, or commercially redistribute outputs without our written agreement (Agency tier may include separate terms)
• Submit confidential third-party personal data or special-category data to AI tools without lawful basis

4. Free tools

Free tools (including GEO Score Checker, schema generators, llms.txt, and similar) are provided as available without guaranteed uptime, accuracy, or permanence.

We may change, limit, or discontinue free features at any time. Free outputs are for your own use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Competitor comparison and score features are automated estimates — not a guarantee of AI engine behaviour or rankings.

5. Paid subscriptions and tiers

Paid access (Starter, Growth, and Agency self-serve tiers) is billed monthly in advance via Stripe unless stated otherwise. Plan limits (rewrites, citation keywords, workspaces) are shown on our pricing page.

• Access — features depend on your active plan. Plan details and limits are shown on our pricing page at checkout.
• Cancellation — cancel via Stripe Customer Portal or by emailing us. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time unless required by consumer law.
• Price changes — we will give at least 30 days' notice before increasing prices for existing subscribers.
• Failed payment — we may suspend paid features until payment succeeds.
• Restore access — subscribers may restore browser access via email verification flows we provide; abuse of restore mechanisms is prohibited.

6. UK consumer rights

If you are a consumer (using the Service for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession), nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including rights relating to digital content and services where applicable.

For business users, warranties are limited as set out in the Disclaimer section below.

7. Done-for-you and professional services

Custom audits, consulting, or site-wide GEO work may be agreed separately in writing (scope, fees, deliverables, revisions). These Terms apply unless a signed agreement expressly overrides them.

8. Results and AI outputs

GEO scores, recommendations, rewrites, monitoring results, and competitor comparisons reflect automated analysis and third-party AI models at a point in time.

AI engine behaviour changes frequently. We do not guarantee improved citations, traffic, or revenue. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing.

9. Intellectual property

Our website, brand, code, scoring methodology, and report formats remain our intellectual property or our licensors'.

Outputs you generate for your own content (e.g. suggested alt text, schema, rewrites of your pages) are yours to use, subject to third-party AI provider terms and your underlying rights in the source material.

10. Third-party AI and services

Paid and free tools may send your inputs to Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity, and other providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to that processing.

We are not liable for errors, omissions, or policy changes by third-party providers.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for claims under these Terms is limited to the greater of £100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms, except where caused by our negligence or breach.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction for business users unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when we launch new features, tiers, or legal requirements. Material changes to paying subscribers will be notified with at least 14 days' notice where practicable.

The Last updated date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
